Field Visit to Small-scale Mushroom and Bee farm

On 21st October 2022, Prof. Dr. Ramchandra Bhandari (ITT, TH Köln) and Prof. Dr. Sunil Prasad Lohani (Lead-RSEL, KU) along with their research team updated on the e-REET project progress and had a discussion on way forward for successful conduction of the project. The team had extensive discussions on how the research project could contribute for energy-intensive agriculture sector in Nepal. The project partners with their team also visited a small-scale Mushroom farm and Bee farm located at Sangha, Dhulikhel. The field visit provided useful insights on the current agriculture practice of Nepal, technologies in use and the gap in agri-technologies research in Nepal and how academia could contribute to close that gap.
