International Workshop on “Energizing Higher Education – Renewable Energy for Economic Transition (e-REET)”
On December 15, ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐๐, ๐๐จ successfully organized an international project dissemination workshop at the Himalaya Drishya Resort, Dhulikhel. On September 29, 2024, the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Laboratory (RSEL) organized a project dissemination workshop for the project titled โDemonstrating the Applicability of Modified Prefabricated Household Floating Drum Biodigesterโ, funded by EnergizeNepal (NORAD). The workshop gathered 33 stakeholders and participants from Nepalโs biogas sector to discuss the outcomes of the project, including a sustainability study of household biogas plants in Nepal and the role of prefabricated floating biogas systems in advancing clean cooking energy. The RSEL , Kathmandu University in collaboration with the Renewable Energy Confederation of Nepal (RECON) successfully organized a seminar on “Biogas, Biomass, and Waste Management” on March 28, 2024. This event, part of the NORPART-funded Re-Tech project, brought together 45 stakeholders deeply invested in exploring Nepal’s renewable energy potential. ย Assoc. Field Visit to Small-scale Mushroom and Bee farm
On 21st October 2022, Prof. Dr. Ramchandra Bhandari (ITT, TH Kรถln) and Prof. Dr. Sunil Prasad Lohani (Lead-RSEL, KU) along with their research team updated on the e-REET project progress and had a discussion on way forward for successful conduction of the project.
